Happy New Year from the entire Holo team! We are grateful to start off 2025 with another exciting new partnership announcement! A few weeks ago we closed out the year announcing our partnership with Hivello, which will unlock new earning potential for HoloPort owners. Now, as promised, we have even more collaboration in the works to tell you about.
Holo and Immu.ai, a pioneering ethical AI research company, are teaming up to explore innovative solutions for the emerging Digital Product Passport (DPP) sector. Notably, Immu.ai will also partner with the Holochain Foundation to leverage Holochain’s agent-centric architecture, enabling scalability and tamper resistance while allowing participants to maintain control over their data.
Introducing Digital Product Passports
Required by the European Union for rollout in 2027, Digital Product Passports help businesses and consumers track the lifecycle and provenance of goods. DPP’s can provide visibility into the entire chain of custody for various everyday goods like foods and supplements. Holo will provide the reliable infrastructure and robust systems that this tooling requires. From material sourcing to recycling we’ll help Immu.ai ensure compliance with sustainability regulations and grow consumer trust.
Our collaboration also extends to leveraging Immu.ai’s Green Proof of Work (GPOW) technology on the Holo network for secure and scalable computation beyond DPP use cases. GPOW offers an energy-efficient alternative to traditional blockchain mechanisms, making it ideal for industries requiring tamper-resistant data handling and scalable, decentralized systems.
"Immu.ai’s Green Proof of Work (GPOW) system provides an innovative approach to secure computation, ensuring data integrity without the environmental costs associated with traditional blockchain models. Combined with Holochain’s peer-to-peer infrastructure, this technology has the potential to redefine digital product tracking"
said Ali Razeghi, CEO at Immu.ai.
"At Holo, we are committed to exploring cutting-edge technologies to support secure and scalable decentralized systems. Collaborating with Immu.ai provides a unique opportunity to build solutions that leverage innovations like Green Proof of Work while aligning with Holo’s distributed hosting platform. Together, we aim to address pressing challenges in data integrity and sustainability, laying the groundwork for systems that balance a more green future with business needs and regulatory compliance."
