The development team is focused on critical infrastructure and tooling improvements facilitating Holo’s Allograph network migration.
SSH Functionality on Allograph
We have successfully tested the new SSH functionality via a jump host, demonstrating that our proposed solution works as intended. The team is now finalizing the SSH client, which will be shipped to HoloPorts in preparation for the Allograph migration. This crucial feature removes a longtime dependency on the legacy overlay network and will significantly improve our ability to troubleshoot and support hosts throughout the migration process.
API Upgrade
Our existing APIs for managing workloads on HoloPorts have received a major update. The new schema provides a cleaner, more precise way to define workloads by distinguishing between a "workload," a "job," and a "manifest." This upgrade streamlines our backend processes and provides a more intuitive experience for developers using the API.
Allograph Testing
A big thank you to the hosters in our community who have joined our Allograph beta testing group! With their help we set up their HoloPorts with port forwarding, and we are now able to test and automate the scripts for large-scale batch migrations to the Allograph network. This beta phase is critical to ensuring a smooth and reliable transition for the entire hoster community.
