Holo began this journey by selling pre-paid hosting credits as tokens in our community sale. This meant that we were making a technological promise for a cloud infrastructure to support Holochain products and to use Holochain as the basis of our payment infrastructure. While implementing HoloFuel as our micro-currency system for peer based payments and settlement remains a goal, we’re moving forward now to offer our cloud hosting services for businesses and consumers and accepting Holo token (HOT) and national currencies such as USD or EUR. This will ensure earlier delivery and seamless operations for customers and hosts alike.
